Founded
in 1852, American Society
of Civil Engineers (ASCE) represents more than
123,000 members of the civil engineering profession worldwide, and
is America's oldest national engineering society. ASCE's vision
is to position engineers as global leaders building a better quality
of life. The Society is preparing to celebrate its 150th anniversary
in 2002.

Associate of Tower Erectors (NATE) is a nonprofit
trade association providing a unified voice for tower erection,
maintenance and service companies. NATE is headquartered in Watertown,
South Dakota with a staff of five people who administer to the day-to-day
operation of the association. As a member driven association, NATE
is directed by its Board of Directors and committees. These individuals
come from all types and sizes of companies located throughout the
United States. |

Arizona
Professional Land Surveyor (APLS) is
a nonprofit association that’s principle office is located
in the county of Maricopa, State of Arizona, but has other office
located through out the state. APLS was designed to promote and
maintain the highest possible standards of professional ethics and
practices. In addition, they focus on promoting professional uniformity,
promoting public awareness and trust in Registered Land Surveyors
and their work. APLS discourages unethical and illegal practices
and professional abuses. APLS has been instrumental in the initiation
of legislative action for the benefit of the Association and its
members. |

SBCCI
is a nonprofit organization whose primary mission since 1940 has
been to develop and maintain a set of model building codes. Since
1994, SBCCI has also been an active participant in the International
Code Council in which, along with other major model code associations,
SBCCI publishes the International Codes® and provides editions
of its original codes, the Standard Codes™. These documents
are intended to be adopted by reference as local and state laws
governing construction. The Southern Building Code Congress International
(SBCCI) provides technical, educational, and administrative support
to governmental departments and agencies engaged in building codes
administration and enforcement. SBCCI also provides similar support
to others in the building design and construction industry.
